　　On December 12, 2019, the one-time hot commissioning of 2 × continuous caster in the steelmaking plant of Minmetals Yingkou Medium Plate Co., Ltd. was successful, and the production section was 320mm × 2000mm; On january18,2020, the 2# continuous caster successfully cast the thickest slab in China, with a production section of 450mm × 2000mm, the successful hot test of the continuous caster marks the smooth operation of the thickest vertical bending continuous caster in China, creating the shortest cycle from construction to commissioning and then to hot test of the same type of continuous caster, which can be called a miracle in the continuous casting industry. After being put into operation, the slab quality produced by the 2# continuous caster is stable. The thickness of 450mm slab produced reaches the first in China. It is matched with the 5m wide plate mill, and the maximum thickness can reach 200mm.
